Dougie Cutlery Set

Where there is great food, you will find Dougie! Food is his best friend. In fact, he stores enough fat to last the year. His round belly and his short limbs make him look a bit chubby and clumsy.

Dougie only loves to eat and play. He gets impatient when he has to do anything else. Regardless of whether it is homework or housework, he will only show interest if they become games. Because he is careless and impatient though, he frequently makes mistakes. If anyone wants him to do something, they better give him simple tasks that don’t take too much thinking. Otherwise, they’ll need to take care of the mess he leaves behind.

To shed a few pounds, Dougie once tried to invite everyone on a "Healthy Hike around the Island". Unfortunately, he was the only participant that turned up, so he finished the hike on his own. But tired and hungry Dougie just wound up eating more food than before! He even created a map of great food around Happy Island. However, he noticed that some of his favourite foods were running low. No matter how tasty that food was, if everyone wanted to keep enjoying it, they had to stop themselves from eating it until it had time to grow back. If they were careful, they could then harvest their favourite foods sustainably and keep enjoying it together. Before, Dougie hated sharing his food with anyone else. His hike taught him that, "While it’s nice to find good food, it’s lonely to eat alone." Good food tastes even better if it is shared with good friends. From that day forward, Dougie was determined to always share his food!
